Vision
To build a community where every young person, regardless of socioeconomic background, has a structured pathway to discover their ultimate potential, achieve academic excellence, and master life-ready leadership through the power of sport.
About Us
Lonestar Sports Foundation is building a stronger path for young athletes by pairing sports training with discipline, resilience, mentorship, and community support.
Our journey began simply: as individuals deeply passionate about the transformative power of sports, especially table tennis. We saw firsthand that table tennis is far more than a game. It teaches split-second strategic thinking, intense focus, physical agility, and mental resilience. These are crucial life skills that extend far beyond the edge of the table.
We started by helping individual students in need, offering guidance, equipment, and training both on and off the courts. Seeing their personal and athletic growth made us realize something bigger: a casual approach was not enough. To truly reduce economic barriers and reach every talented kid who deserves a chance, we needed to scale our efforts.
We established Lonestar Sports Foundation to turn that passion into a systematic, structured framework. By organizing our initiatives into dedicated, long-term development programs, we can expand our reach to benefit more youth across the Greater Austin neighborhood and beyond.
